Einar & Vikings TRI COLOR SPECIAL 3 SETS/ 33 FIGURES (1 EACH TAN, GRAY/GREEN & BROWN)) + 14 OF OUR WAR LORD FRISIANS

A Dream Come True. RC has wanted a plastic Einar figure since 1958 when he first saw Einar on the big screen.   Einar (separately packaged as befits a legendary warrior) plus 10 fighting and shield wall poses for a total of 11 figures  per set.  Several figures have alternate heads/arms/weapons. Our logo (shown on all of our packaging) is based upon 'The Great Snake' design used on the sail of 1 of the ships featured in the film "The Vikings". Mr. Douglas approved our using his design . We are proud to do so every day.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Einar figure will go to The Douglas Foundation to honor Kirk & Anne Douglas.(approx $2.50 per set) Their charity has done wonderful work building playgrounds for underprivileged children. Mr. & Mrs. D approved the likeness of Einar. (Amazingly, the licensing people at MGM disapproved the Einar figure and insisted that RC must remove the scars and busted up eye and make the pose less violent; Mr. D -who owned the film - told RC to ignore the studio's absurd requests and proceed.  Until his passing, Mr. D kept various sculpts and prototypes (incl. the Einar featured here)of ours portraying characters from both The Vikings and Spartacus on display at his home and office!!) HAIL EINAR !!!

These magnificent sculpts were designed to join our previously released "Barbarians/Vikings" set. We have produced them in a choice of the same 3 colors which were used on last year's Barbarian/Viking set.  Please look at 'specials' and quantity discounts before placing order.   Some poses require minimal assembly including gluing alternate parts in place.  Straightening / reshaping may be done using the 'hot water/cold water method known to most collectors . DUE TO SMALL PARTS & POINTED PIECES THESE SETS ARE ONLY SUITED FOR ADULTS AND SUPERVISED YOUNGSTERS 14 AND OLDER.
